About us
Hello and welcome to Curlytail Cornish Rex.
I became fascinated with the Cornish Rex breed in the early ‘90s. I purchased an entire female – a Chocolate Tortie, as at the time the breeder wanted to expand the availability of Cornish Rex in Western Australia and welcomed my enthusiasm. I became a registered breeder with COAWA and also showed my Cornish Rex.
In early 2025 we welcome our new stud boy WagneRex The Dark Knight (Bruce Wayne) from the amazing WagneRex cattery in America to help improve our lines and diversify the Cornish Rex genes in Australia.
Why Cornish Rex
The Cornish Rex is an elegant, well-muscled, medium sized cat renowned for its super soft Marcel waved coat. The Cornish Rex has an oval or egg-shaped head and large ears, long straight legs, and a slender body.
Our Breeding Cats
All of our breeding cats are DNA tested. They also have echocardiograms around breeding age and every two years while in our breeding programme.
